Hey there! The other day was my birthday and a lot of nice people here on dA were kind enoght to stop by my profile and wish me a happy day. THANK YOU! I was really happy with all the good wishes.

It's been a year since I updated my devianART or just spent time in here. This past year has been a tough one for me, and the first thing to suffer was my art. I'll spare you the sob story, but some circumstances made me lose my motivation and my spirit. I won't lie, I let it all affect me, I didn't snap out of it, I knew I had to, but I just kept doubting myself and my skills, and fearing people's expectations. It became a rather annoying vicious circle.

It's not like I pushed away the pencil and stopped drawing. I've been doing practices and artwork, mostly published on my Tumblr, and then some art meant for publication, but it was difficult for me, like something was holding me back from enjoying my time drawing fully. *sigh*

Now, however, I kind of woke up from that, and even if sometimes I'm insecure, I have to remind myself to stop my own pity party, kick my own friggin' ass and do something damn it all! to stop being stupid.
Ok, mushy-feelings talk over.

So this means I've got work to do. Upload the new artwork I have, contact the two remaining people on my list of commissions _{(who will surely kill me, or maybe will have to remember who the hell I am, most likely)}, and then I will open commissions again! Yeah, it will take a little more, 'cause I have the remaining commissions and a contest to enter, but I will be opening them.

So having a dA subscription enables you to have fancy journal skins and other fancy shit, like a portfolio. So I put mine together and here's the result, if you want to see the thing. Awesome Portfolio Extraordinaire
